Participants have 60 days from the date of registration to complete coursework, have the class graded by the instructor within 3 business day, and resubmit any answers toward a passing grade allowing an additional 3 business days for re-submission grading. In order to avoid being dropped before passing the course, ChildCareTraining.org recommends you complete the class at a minimum of at least two weeks prior to the 60 day drop date. After you are dropped from a course, we can not guarantee your completed coursework will be available.
If a student does not complete a class prior to the expiration of the 60 day enrollment period, we will add the student back in for 14 days with a call or request from the helpdesk (orange question mark in the lower right hand corner). Grades and material completed are not recovered when you re-enroll yourself. We have to recover your grades manually.
For fee based classes, if the student still does not complete the class in that additional fourteen day period, they will be required to pay for the class again.
The exceptions to this policy are synchronous courses, which have specific begin and end dates, and are time-limited.
If you enrolled in a course but did not complete it and were dropped from the class, there are times when it is not possible to recover grades and work. In that case, you would need to begin the class again.
